Okay I'm messing around w/ChitChat 'cause BareBones won't load.

I notice that Rick/I can't leave Mama's either.

That Rope keeps showing up, could that have something to do with the Array Exception?

Depart for the Clock Tower get's Arrive at the Clock Tower Mama's Bar and the Rope from Things at Mama's is now listed next to Mama's Bar in the Situation window at bottom.

That is actually not an error -- the old Deikto included the place you were coming from in the "arrive at" sentence, by default. But I can see how it's confusing. I'll have to see if I can change that. (depart for and arrive at are system verbs, and I don't know if that particular aspect can be modified.)

Don't mention it!
Y'all've obsesed me.

I'd sure like to be able to chase Actors to the next Stage and keep bugging them.
Which brings up a Point Of View point.
Should I (Protagonist) KNOW where Actor goes when they leave Mama's Bar?

No -- if a character departs a stage, you don't know where they have gone.

No prob on "missing" anything.
I'm old enough to wait on Christmas now... :D

Seriously though... It appears Mighty Facu has released fresh new SWAT.
I'll check it out first to see if this is still the case but in the 1892 version I knew exactally where they were going because StoryTeller said so.

There's SO MANY little tweaks that I simplly don't have the typing speed to compliment....

I believe!

That's right -- I'd forgotten that. Hmm. For the next version of SWAT, I'm thinking we should change this -- I don't think the other characters should know where someone is going, unless they ask.

I agree, they might see the general direction an Actor went...
You know, I supose Stages and Props are flexable enough that it depends on how the Author conceptualizes them...

When playing BoP I see myself in the oval office (perish THAT thought)

You'd know an Actor went out the door but then?
I'm trying to imagine a Spy, tailing someone...

This is a stranger consideration than I thought it seems.

This little toy storyworld is only available with the SWAT editor. It's basically meant to be a tool for authors to learn scripting methods from.

Michael, you can download the software and try it out at this location, in the "Create a Storyworld" section of our website. You can do a test run following these instructions.
